Encore Dance Contract:
1.REGISTRATION FEE: $15 per
year (2013-14) for returning students, $20 per year for new students, due upon
signup. Registration Fee is non-refundable.
2. TUITION: Tuition is
Autopay ONLY, if you do not wish to have your credit card charged automatically
each month, you may pre-pay the entire season by check. Cards are charged
on the 25th of the month PRIOR to instruction. If your card is declined,
your child will not be allowed to attend class until it is paid. You will
receive one courtesy email and one courtesy phone call, and after that your
child's spot in class will be released to another student. You agree
that your monthly tuition will stay the same whether there are 3, 4 or 5 weeks
in the month. PLEASE NOTE: By signing below you agree to always pay your
monthly tuition on time. If you elect to
drop classes, please do so before the 25th of the month prior so someone else
can take your spot and you will not be charged. Once cards have been
charged there are no refunds.
3. CLASS OBSERVATION:
Due to this being a home studio taught in a residential neighborhood, and so we
can keep offering these great classes, we require that parents do not enter
into the studio/home while class is in session. Please drop off and pick up
your child without staying to watch. We will provide a video feed that
is password protected for parents who wish to observe what is going on in the
classroom.
4. DRESS AND GROOMING:
Combination Classes - REQUIRED: Girls: Leotard, tights, and ballet shoes all
either black or LIGHT pink (each piece can be either pink or black, does not
have to be all one or the other). A SIMPLE black or LIGHT pink ballet skirt
purchased through Leah or an approved vendor is optional - no poofy tutus or
costumes please. Hair MUST be in a ponytail or bun, with no loose hair in
the face. If hair is too short to pull
back in a ponytail, it must be clipped back so it is not in the face.
Boys: shirt and shorts. Close fitting but easy to move in.
Jazz Classes: Modest tank, leo,
or close fitting shirt with bikers, jazz pants or capris. Modesty is
required, including no bare midriffs, booty shorts, or cleavage. Jazz
shoes or bare feet. Be sure that clothes are close fitting enough to be able
to see movement.
****IF STUDENTS ARE NOT PROPERLY DRESSED/GROOMED FOR CLASS, THEY
MAY BE ASKED TO OBSERVE. EXTRA
TIGHTS, LEOS, AND SHOES WILL BE AVAILABLE FOR RENTAL OR PURCHASE IF STUDENT IS
NOT PROPERLY CLOTHED AND WOULD STILL LIKE TO ATTEND CLASS. CARDS WILL BE IMMEDIATELY CHARGED THE RENTAL
RATE UNLESS YOU INDICATE A DESIRE TO PURCHASE.
RENTAL AND PURCHASE PRICES WILL BE PUBLISHED BI-YEARLY IN SEPTEMBER AND
JANUARY.
5. GENERAL: No
food or drinks (other than water) are allowed in our studios, and NO GUM. If students or parents are disruptive or
disrespectful in any way during class, they will be asked to leave.
Tuition will not be prorated or refunded for classes students are excused
from for behavioral problems. Encore Dance reserves the right to refuse
service to anyone.
6. RELEASE: By signing
this contract you agree to release and forever discharge, Encore
Dance and Leah Vincent from any liabilities growing out of or related
to any activities in which you and/or your child(ren) may participate in.
You understand that this is a full and complete release for all injuries
or damages which you and/or your child(ren) may sustain as a result of your
participation in any activities, regardless of the specific cause thereof.
